Demand for Haitian 7 C’s Booklet

In January, just a few days before a massive earthquake hit Haiti, I had a blog item about the AiG booklets that are now available in the Haitian Creole language. We’ve had many requests for the Haitian booklet on the 7 C’s of History since it appeared in my blog and in the AiG newsletter.  It is now available online (along with some other articles in the Creole language).  Here is the link:  http://www.answersingenesis.org/ht/ .

Pray that this witnessing booklet will be read by needy Haitians right now and that they will respond to the gospel message presented inside. And as we’ve already encouraged you to do, please consider donating to relief efforts in Haiti (such as Food for the Hungry’s Haiti Earthquake Relief).

Grand Canyon Raft Trips

I’m excited to know about the variety of men who are signed up to participate in this year’s Grand Canyon raft trip for Christian leaders.  We will have 3 continents and 4 countries represented with men from 22 different institutions.  Some are committed to a literal Genesis/young-earth position, and who want a better understanding of the scientific evidence supporting their position; others are old-earth creationists or they are unsure about the age of the earth. But, according to Dr. Terry Mortenson of our staff who is overseeing this raft trip, they all are open to considering both the biblical and scientific evidence for a young-earth as they take this Flood geology tour .

There are two prayer requests that Terry has shared with me as we do ministry work in the Grand Canyon.

1. We still need about $30,000 to cover the cost of the heavily scholarshipped Christian Leaders’ raft trip, held in conjunction with Canyon Ministries of Arizona. Please ask the Lord to supply the funds.
2. Our friends at Canyon Ministries are in need of filling 9 seats on a different raft trip—a 7-day Grand Canyon river trip starting June 21.   Canyon Ministries wants to fill this raft and ensure that it will continue to be able to offer Grand Canyon raft trips into the future.  We ask the Lord to fill those seats.

(1Timothy 1:16)  Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

Paul’s life was a prophetic book for Jews to read and see how to be saved, so our lives should be an easy to read book for the lost on how they can easily be saved.
