On the Fox News Channel Tomorrow

This week we have mentioned on my blog that our TV spots for our “IAmNotAshamed.org” campaign have been running on the Fox News Channel, including on the popular Glenn Beck program.

Here is the schedule for our TV spots that will run tomorrow (Friday), as supplied to us by our ad agency—note that we don’t know exactly what time each TV spot will air, but the hour is given.

Answers in Genesis Wins More Addy Awards

The American Advertising Federation explains the Addy awards on their website this way:

With over 60,000 entries annually, the ADDY® Awards are the world's largest and arguably toughest advertising competition. The ADDY® Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world. The American Advertising Federation, a not-for-profit industry association conducts the ADDY® Awards through its 200 member advertising clubs and 15 districts. It is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry.

Recently, our marketing agents, Joseph David Advertising (JDA), won a number of Addy awards at the district level (Central Indiana). From here, we go to the regional level, and then on to the national level. Over the past few years, JDA has won quite a number of Addy awards at the district and regional levels for AiG. Responses to the “I Am Not Ashamed” Campaign

See yesterday’s blog post for more information on the “I am not ashamed” campaign. Joseph David Advertising (and particularly Beckie Manley) have been working hard with us for the past few months to develop this exciting and powerful campaign. We are now seeing responses pouring in. Here are a couple from the website from people who saw our advertisements on TV:

just saw the commercial for this, on tv and was so excited to hear the name JESUS CHRIST being said on tv. sadly,“but true” that this name is slandered on tv more nowdays than praised. i am not ashamed, GOD help me honor you and your son JESUS CHRIST!

Was very surprised to hear the name Jesus Christ on TV and it not be a bad thing. Don’t ever be afraid to acknowledge Jesus Christ as your savior.

Given to us the ministry of reconciliation . . . committed unto us the word of reconciliation

(2 Corinthians 5:18–21) And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

The greatest task of the Church is to win souls to the Lord Jesus Christ, as both a ministry given to us and a word committed to our trust to preach for a short time.
