Modesto conference crowded!

Today, Dr. Jason Lisle and I spoke to around 2,500 different people at Calvary Chapel in Modesto, California (see photographs). This morning, 2,300 attended the two morning services, and this evening, an overflow crowd of over 1,500 turned out for the two sessions. The conference continues tomorrow with the two student sessions and then two more evening sessions Monday and Tuesday.

Many people came up during the breaks to give positive testimony about the ministry. One person told me this morning that a seminar I spoke at in 1988 (not long afer I came to the USA) was pivotal in him becoming a Christian. A number of people told me they totally changed their thinking after the services I spoke at three years ago.
