I Am Not Ashamed

I’m very excited about our new campaign this year, and I hope you are too. The great thing about it is that you can actually be involved! We are putting together the first ever online video Bible. I was taped last week reading my part, Genesis 2:21–25. Those verses are about the creation of Eve, which I thought was very appropriate for a woman to read! Get your family, small group, youth group, Sunday school class, or church together, and be a part of the online video Bible.

We also have some great merchandise for the campaign. I wear a lapel pin on my coat that reads, “I am not ashamed—Romans 1:16.” My daughter asked me what it said, and I explained to her that it was a verse in the Bible that states in part, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.” I have heard her repeat several times since then that she is not ashamed. She received Christ several months ago, and it’s great to see this campaign impacting her faith as well as mine. I hope by wearing the merchandise that I’ll be able to initiate some good conversations about the gospel.

The Bible really does speak for itself, and that is what the billboards associated with the campaign will emphasize. Ken Ham shared in his State of the Nation 2 presentation that churches can sponsor billboards that read:

THE BIBLE SPEAKS FOR ITSELF ON MARRIAGE

GOD MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE

MARK 10:6

I hope that my readers will get involved and start putting back the reminders that have been removed.
