Intro to Forensic Science

Assessing a crime scene, collecting and analyzing evidence, and profiling criminals are all important aspects of forensic science that boil down to one thing: finding the truth. For Christians, the greatest importance of the study of forensics is keeping our focus on God’s truth. But how can we view this often distressing and disturbing field through a biblical lens?

Firmly based in Scripture, Intro to Forensic Science gently approaches various disciplines of forensic science, while also confirming the reality of our fallen world. The course guides students through difficult topics but directs their attention back to God’s Word and its wisdom.

This course includes:

• Charts, color photos, and more as it takes students from initial investigations to court proceedings
• A biblical component to tie each lesson to Scripture
• History, procedures, and criminal cases solved by techniques of various forensic disciplines
