Raising Daniels

More than a homeschool conference—it’s a family experience!

Join us for three days of faith-building experiences for the whole family. Tour the full-size Noah’s Ark, meet the animals in Ararat Ridge Zoo during live animal programs, ride the carousel, walk through biblical history at the Creation Museum (including our Fearfully & Wonderfully Made exhibit), soak in practical, biblical teaching from sought-after speakers, enjoy hands-on, engaging science and Bible programs for the whole family, shop from our vast array of resources, take the kids to our world-class playgrounds, and watch the kids’ eyes open in wonder as they learn more about God’s creation and the Creator!

We’ve designed our Answers Homeschool Experience to help you to better disciple and educate your children, encourage you in your homeschooling journey, equip your children with answers to the questions of our day, and build lasting family memories while you have fun together.

There’s no other experience like it! Register Early!

Descriptions

Presentation Descriptions

Teaching Wonder and Wisdom: Mind Food Without Heart Bypass | Becky Aniol
Right thinking and right facts alone cannot bring a change of life and behavior. How can we teach our children to walk in the wonder and wisdom of the Lord and offer them a healthy diet of academics without bypassing their hearts? This talk offers answers.

8 Laws Every Parent Should Know | Bradley Pierce
Can a social worker come into your home without a warrant? How old does your child have to be to leave them home alone? Part of protecting your parental rights is being informed on the laws in your state. Come learn eight laws that every parent should know. Session includes Q&A.

Escapism: Avoiding the Snares of Media | Chuck Black
In today’s technological culture, the enemy’s lure of our young people’s minds to escape into an artificial world is great. Apathy and self-indulgence are consequences that lead to broken relationships, homes, and hearts. Learn practical tools to keep your children from the snare of escapism.

Dealing with Doubt: Strengthening Your Children’s Faith | Chuck Black
Parents have an obligation to equip, prepare, and launch their children into the world fully capable of standing against spiritual attacks and waves of doubt. Discover how to discern if doubt is something your child is facing and how to help them overcome it.

Born for This: Facing Giants in Your Life with Courage | Heidi St. John
Whether your “giants” are physical, spiritual, relational, or emotional, God has a message for you: you were born for this! Heidi draws from personal experience facing her own “giants,” and you’ll be reminded that whatever you are facing today, God is right beside you.

Like Arrows in the Hands of a Warrior | Heidi St. John
God says our children are like “arrows in the hands of a warrior.” Do we see ourselves as warriors? Are we purposeful in the spiritual training of our kids? God desires that we train and sharpen our “arrows” so they will be ready to fly. Heidi will greatly encourage you in your role as parents.

Logic and the Christian Faith | Jason Lisle
Is the Bible illogical? What is logic and its connection to the Christian worldview? Right reasoning is essential to please God and defend the Christian worldview well. Explore the rules of correct reasoning and see how non-biblical systems violate these rules.

Astronomy Reveals Creation | Jason Lisle
Students often learn that the universe formed from a big bang billions of years ago and the biblical account of creation is wrong. But such views are not scientifically or biblically sound! Explore fascinating evidence that the universe is young.

The Work of His Hands: Addressing the Perceived Conflict Between Science and Scripture | Jeff Williams
Science is often portrayed as incompatible with Scripture, so how do believers approach education in science? Learn how the “conflict” is a lie! Scientific endeavor flourishes in the soil of biblical presuppositions and the moral sanction given by the dominion mandate.

Raising Daniels in the Lion’s Den of Our Culture | Martha Peace
We live in a Canaanite culture. Evil abounds but so does God’s grace. There’s hope for every parent who wants their child to love Christ and be faithful. It begins with the parents. Learn from the example of Daniel and what parents can do to influence their children to be faithful.
