Leave a Legacy with the Give It Twice Trust

Most believers want to leave a legacy for their children and for eternity with the resources God has entrusted to them. This is part of being a “good steward” who honors the Lord with His resources.

One way that American Christians can leave a legacy for both their children and God’s kingdom is a “Give It Twice” trust. This allows you to essentially give your estate twice, once to your children and once to further God’s gospel purposes.

Here’s how it works: this special trust is funded by the surviving spouse. A portion of the estate is transferred outright to the children while the balance of the estate is placed in the special “Give It Twice” trust. For a term of years (usually 20 years), the children receive an income from the trust; after this term of years, the principal of the trust is transferred to your chosen non-profit. Essentially your estate is given twice—once to your kids and then once to further the work of God’s kingdom.

Planned giving options, such as this special trust, are a great way to partner with Answers in Genesis to spread the message of biblical authority and the gospel. If you believe in what we do and want to leave a lasting legacy that will impact people and the church for generations to come, consider a trust such as the “Give It Twice” trust.
