Prepare to enter IncrediWorld, the heart of the Amazon, finding the evidence, and more in this month’s InSite!
Welcome to IncrediWorld—the first and only VBS amazement park. Before you jump in, take a moment to familiarize yourself with this exciting new VBS adventure for 2012.
First, you’ll see we’ve packed in all the fun and biblical content you’ve come to expect from Answers in Genesis. We’ve loaded the park with crafts that kids love, some hilarious skits, and a healthy dose of good-natured games. But the best part? Our content teaches the most important message of all: kids can trust the Bible. After all, kids hear an entirely different message from the world outside. They need to know the Bible is what it says it is.
Continuing on, you’ll probably hear some of the new songs that make the IncrediWorld VBS such a good choice. They’re easy to learn, incredibly catchy, and teach the important lessons kids need to know about God’s Word and world. If you find they get stuck in your head, that’s okay. Sing ’em wherever you go (well, almost anywhere).
Next up, we’ll let you in on the secret that separates us from other parks. You see, the kids are having so much fun they don’t always realize how much they’re learning. They memorize Bible verses to help them through life and get a background in apologetics—that means they learn how to defend their faith. Even more exciting—some of them will hear the gospel for the first time.
So, what awaits in this five-day adventure? Each day in the park, we’ve planned some pretty great events to get your VBSers revved up. Day 1—well, it’s no surprise that we’ll be taking a spin through the Creation Week. For Day 2, we’ll be handing out Bible glasses and showing the kids how to wear them. On Day 3 they’ll find out about the “ticket to heaven.” Day 4 features a roller coaster ride through God’s design in nature. And for the finale on Day 5, we’ve saved something big. How big? Dinosaur big.
And that’s just a small taste of all we’ve got in store. So, strap yourself in and get ready for a thrill like no other—one where you get more out of it than simply amusement. We call it “amazement” because we know you and your kids will be amazed by God and His love for us. Now that’s something you can get excited about.
If you want to know more, zip on over to the IncrediWorld website for a look at what’s to come.
We still have some seats available on our Grand Canyon rafting trips for 2012. Ride the rapids with Tom Vail, experienced guide, and learn how this scar in the landscape proclaims a young earth.
For the better part of a week, Doug Phillips (president of Vision Forum Ministries) and his team lived on a boat on the Amazon River and on land in the surrounding rainforest. They caught some of their own food, debated, dialogued, explored, and investigated the mystery of this seldom-explored land.
Now you can follow these thirty men and share in their experiences as they address seven important issues for every Christian in the new DVD set Into the Amazon: One Lost World, Thirty Men, Seven Mysteries.
Along with the breathtaking birds, pink dolphins, exotic plants and amazing animals, the Amazon is filled with anacondas, toxic ants, piranhas, vampire bats, chiggers, and stinging plants. But you can enjoy this experience without stepping on the ants or bugs yourself. You don’t even need to be squeezed by an anaconda. Instead, take this incredible journey from home!
The seven unique adventures in this set reveal why wise environmental stewardship for the glory of God is critical today. Evolutionism and pantheism must be exposed to stop their crippling impact on man’s approach to the world’s resources. During the trip, Phillips examines the dangers of radical environmentalism and exhorts Christians to worship the Creator not the creation.
Set off today and uncover the truth about how humans are to take care of the earth. You can watch a video trailer for the set on our online bookstore to test the waters for yourself.
We have not been able to get on the site that Dr. David Menton mentions in his DVD series Body of Evidence. The only thing that comes up is the DVD series in the Answers in Genesis bookstore.
Don’t panic. The URL that Dr. Menton mentions in the video is correct: Bodyofevidence.org. For the time being, we’ve got that URL (web address) pointed to the bookstore page. So, there’s no issue with that.
However, the site itself isn’t quite ready yet. We’re working as quickly as possible to roll out this new web resource, but we want to make sure it works like it should before we do.
As soon as everything is ready, you can be sure that InSite will give you a detailed look. So, keep watching this column.

Did you know that Ken Ham’s Facebook page has already gathered a group of around 12,000 friends and supporters? If you’re not yet, follow along by “liking” his page. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at his travels (including the chance to guess where he is from his pictures), commentary on culture, and his unique Australian humor. We hope to see you there.
Answers in Genesis is an apologetics ministry, dedicated to helping Christians defend their faith and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
