This is Ken Ham, author of the new book on death and suffering, Divine Dilemma.
When we look around us, we see many similarities between living things. This is called “homology.” It’s often used by evolutionists as evidence of descent from a common ancestor.
But just because things are similar doesn’t mean they had a common ancestor! A car is more similar to a bicycle than a boat, but this doesn’t mean they share a common ancestor. They look similar because they were designed for a similar purpose—and to function in a similar environment.
It’s the same in the living world. Living things were all made by a common Designer to live in the same world and accomplish the same basic things. So, God just used a similar design!
