Have you ever heard the claim that Jesus never even existed but was just a made-up figure? Now, how would you respond?
Well, you can start by pointing out that very few scholars hold to this idea. And this isn’t just Christian scholars! Liberal and even secular scholars who don’t think Jesus was God or did any miracles, still know that he lived in history. Some of them even say that no sane person doubts that Jesus lived and it’s not even worth debating!
As we’ll see this week, the Scriptures and the historical record support his historical existence and even his resurrection!
We can have confidence that we serve a real and risen Lord!
