Why Does It Matter?

All this week we’ve been looking at the question “how did God create?”

Some Christians believe God used evolution. Others reject that, but still accept millions of years. But does it really matter?

Absolutely!

You see, it’s an issue of biblical authority. Will we start with God’s Word or man’s ideas?

Evolution and millions of years don’t come from the Bible. To squeeze them in, you’ve got to radically reinterpret it. And when you do, it shows who your authority actually is—not God and his Word, but man’s fallible, ever-changing ideas.

Man’s ideas come and go—and are often wrong! God alone is the perfect authority.
