God’s design of our bodies is marvelous. Think about your skeletal system. Two hundred and six bones keep your organs in place, anchor your muscles, and provide support for walking.

Bones are made of two very different substances: a hard crystal material, mixed with tough collagen. The crystal material makes up seventy percent of the bone’s dry weight. Collagen makes up the rest.

Now, if your bones were just the crystal material, they would shatter. And too much collagen, and they’d be too rubbery to be useful. But they’re the perfect mix of both: strong but elastic enough to adapt to the stresses we put on them.
