Every continent contains vast rock layers. These can often be traced across the continent and even between continents. How’d they get there?
Well, the layers give us some clues. At the base of many of these layers are huge boulders and sands laid down by big storms. Minerals in the layers are sharp, not rounded as if they’ve been tumbling around for a long time. Millions of fossils of all kinds of creatures are buried in these layers.
None of this is happening today! Something must’ve been different in the past to create these global geologic features.
And that “something” is given to us in God’s Word—the global flood of Noah’s day.
