How’d It Happen?

In Genesis, God tells us what he created on each day of the creation week. Now, some Christians argue that God used evolution to create. But the supposed order of events in the evolutionary story doesn’t match the order in the Bible.

For example, Genesis describes earth as being created covered in water. But evolution has earth originally as a hot, molten blob.

Genesis says God created earth and then the sun and stars. Evolution, though, has the sun and stars formed and then earth formed.

Genesis says plants were created before the sun. Evolution has it the other way around.

And those are just a few of the differences in the order! God didn’t use evolution.
