Yesterday we learned that information only comes from other information. Now, inside each of your cells is the most complex information system known to man—DNA. It’s essential to life.
Think of it this way. If you delete all the software from your smartphone, what do you get? A useless phone! The materials that build the phone are useless without the information to tell it what to do! And the software to operate your phone didn’t come from nowhere—it was designed by an intelligence. It’s the same with DNA, just infinitely more complex!
Just as we’d be foolish to believe software came about by itself, so we would be to think the information in DNA evolved!
