We eat and breathe through the same opening. Sometimes evolutionists point to this and say it’s “poor design” because sometimes people choke. But, is it bad design?

Well, we’ve been given a flap of skin that usually covers our trachea so that food goes to the right spot. It’s perfectly placed! That doesn’t seem like bad design!

And think about this: we move air from our respiratory system through the vocal cords in our larynx. This allows us to make sounds and our mouth, tongue, and lips let us shape those sounds!
