The Old Testament . . . Irrelevant?

This week we’re looking at the six passages in the Bible that address homosexual behavior.

Now, some Christians disrespectfully call these “clobber passages”—used against LGBT people. But Scripture doesn’t “clobber” anyone—it speaks the truth they need!

And it clearly condemns homosexual acts. Twice in Leviticus, we’re told a man shall not lie with a man. But are these verses relevant since they’re in the Old Testament? Yes! You see, marriage and sexuality are grounded in creation, not the Law. And Leviticus specifically says God judged Gentile nations because of their homosexual behavior.

Instead of seeking temporary pleasure, we must believe the Word of God.
