Over one-third of professing believers in America say the morality around abortion depends on the circumstance. And that it’s acceptable if it “spares the mother from financial or emotional hardship.”

This idea basically says morality changes depending on the situation. But morality isn’t based on arbitrary human standards. God creates life … and he has spoken to us authoritatively in his Word and said, “you shall not murder.”

Now, the circumstances surrounding conception or the life of a child, can be very complicated. But the issue of abortion isn’t. It’s wrong … and a sin against the Creator, the one who fearfully and wonderfully knits us together in his very image.
