Christianity: Is It Objective Truth?

According to a recent U.S. survey, nearly one in three so-called Evangelicals believes “religious belief is a matter of personal opinion; it is not about objective truth.” But that is absolutely not what the Bible teaches! Think about it. If it isn’t objective truth that we’re sinners, then it’s not objective truth that we can be saved. If Jesus didn’t really die on the cross, taking our sin-debt, and if God doesn’t actually offer forgiveness, then we’re lost with no hope. If it’s all just our personal opinion, it’s all just wishful thinking! The Bible never treats itself as just an opinion. It claims to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
