A Local Or Global Flood?

When Christians try to add millions of years into the Bible, they create some big problems—including with the flood account.

You see, Genesis clearly describes a global flood. But for those who believe in millions of years, they must reinterpret this as just a local event. You know why? Because a global flood would lay down the rock layers—and it’s those rock layers that’re interpreted as being millions of years old!

Genesis uses words like “all” and “every” over and over again when describing the flood. And the New Testament confirms only eight people survived. Jesus even compared his coming global judgment to this past global judgment!
