Rapid Burial

Researchers have uncovered some incredible fossils. They’ve found fish halfway through eating dinner … and perfectly preserved jellyfish. Then there are the fossils of a whole school of fish that almost look like they’re still swimming together.

We also see insects that were buried alive, creatures buried with their trackways, and more. Obviously, all of these fossils were buried quickly—but how?

Well, the Bible gives us the missing piece. It records the account of a global flood.

Such a catastrophe would’ve ripped up miles of sediment and redeposited it in layers. Fish, insects, plants, and other creatures were trapped in these layers and buried, eventually becoming fossils.
