How do you create a fossil footprint? Well, the footprints must be rapidly buried … before they can be eroded by wind or water. The slow and gradual processes we observe today aren’t burying and preserving footprints. Instead, they quickly erode … and disappear.

So why do we find thousands of fossil footprints?

Well, the global flood explains it! As water levels rose and fell during the beginning of Noah’s flood, wet sediment layers were buried by new layers. Sometimes the footprints left by creatures fleeing rising floodwaters were also buried … and they’re preserved for us to find today.

Fossils aren’t the result of slow processes. They point to Noah’s flood.
