“Prehistoric” Cavemen?

We often hear about “prehistoric” art on cave walls, left behind by some ancient cavemen. But there’s no such thing as “prehistoric” since God’s Word begins recording history from the very beginning. So how should we understand cavemen?

Well, cavemen were simply men who … well … lived in caves! These people weren’t any less intelligent than we are. We’ve found jewelry, musical instruments, tools, weapons, and more in these caves. Cave-dwelling people were human, just like us.

Now, Noah’s flood was followed by the ice age. Cave people were simply populations of humans, and they chose caves as their homes during a harsh time in history.
