Is Natural Selection Evolution?

Part 1

This is Ken Ham, on a mission to strengthen the global church with God’s Word.

If you ask an evolutionist for evidence of evolution, they’ll often point to things like antibiotic resistance in bacteria. Or they’ll say: changes in finches’ beaks. But these aren’t examples of molecules-to-man evolution. Bacteria remain bacteria, finches remain finches. The small changes we observe don’t change one kind of organism into another.

These are just examples of natural selection. But natural selection can’t create new genetic information, something needed for evolution. It only acts on the information already present. And usually it’s a loss of information!

So they’re not evidence for evolution—just changes within a kind.
