Let God’s Word Be on Your Lips

What’s a common topic of conversation in your home? Is it what’s showing on Netflix, what happened at school, or what’s on the news? Or is God’s Word brought up often . . . or at all?

All this week we’re looking at how we can encourage our families to stand on the authority of God’s Word. We’ve seen we need to read and memorize God’s Word. But we also need to talk about it!

Psalm 119 says, “With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth.” We usually think and talk about what we love. Do you show your family that you love God and his Word? Do you share what you’re learning and encourage discussion? If not, start reading and studying God’s Word and then talk about it with your family.
