Steel has a little problem that can turn into a big one. Over time, tiny cracks form and the steel is weakened. Now, to address this problem, engineers recently developed an experimental form of steel design inspired by the bones in your body. This new steel has a complex inner structure of small fibers—they join into larger cylinders. This design allows the steel to handle stress with less cracking.

This research, called “biomimicry,” is an example of borrowing from God’s design. Since God is the greatest designer ever, it makes sense to borrow from his creation. In his creation, we get just a glimpse of his wisdom and creativity. And this should cause us to glorify God.
