A recent study asked Americans to rank different human groups and nationalities on an evolutionary scale of humanness. The majority of those participating ranked Mexicans and Muslims as less human than Americans. Sadly, bigotry and racism are still alive in the US.
As Christians, we should have nothing whatsoever to do with racism. We are all descended from Adam and Eve—there is only one race, the human race. Every person on earth is related to one another. As the Apostle Paul says in the book of Acts, we are all “one blood.”
Jesus came, died, and rose again for people of every tribe, tongue, nation, and language. Every person is a sinner in need of the salvation that Jesus offers.
