When Should We Talk About Evolution?

While you might not have talked with your 5-year-old about evolution, she has probably already heard of it. Kids’ books, movies, TV shows, and schools introduce children to evolution at very young ages. When should parents address it?

Well, start by teaching your kids the truth from a very young age. It is much easier for them to tell the truth from the lies when they are firmly grounded right away!

And be faithful in answering their questions—and always starting with God’s Word. Kids are curious and they need solid, biblical answers.

And take advantage of opportunities when they hear the lies of the world—and point them to God’s unchanging truth. Teach them always to start thinking with God’s Word.
