With the full-size Ark we have built south of Cincinnati, we answer peoples’ questions about the Flood and the Ark. One thing we show is how Noah could have easily cared for the few thousand animals that he needed to take with him on the Ark.

Today, many farms care for thousands of animals by using simple labor-saving devices. Gravity-fed troughs provide the animals with food and water for several days, cutting down feeding time. Sloped floors will direct waste toward a central ditch—making waste removal easy even for a few people. You know, these devices reduce the time spent caring for the animals.

Noah and his family could have easily employed these same technologies on board the Ark.
