Many people think that it must have taken millions of years for us to get the billions of fossils we have today. But the fossil record shows evidence of having been laid down very quickly.

Jellyfish don’t have any hard parts, so they decay within hours—yet we have perfectly preserved jellyfish fossils.

Here at the Creation Museum, we have a fossil of a fish eating another fish. The bigger fish was buried so fast, he didn’t even have time to finish dinner! Fossils found all around the world show evidence of rapid burial. The Bible provides an explanation. The global Flood of Noah’s day would have rapidly buried creatures all over the world.
