Fossils are often thought to be millions of years old . . . and the result of slow and gradual processes over long periods of time. But did you know the Bible provides a much better explanation for the origin of fossils?

In Genesis we read about the global Flood of Noah’s day. This catastrophic event would have ripped up miles of sediment and re-deposited it in layers. Billions of organisms would have gotten trapped and buried in this sediment, eventually becoming the fossils we dig up today. This didn’t take millions of years. It took just a few short months during the Flood.

Yes, the Flood explains why we find billions of dead things, buried in rock layers, laid down by water, all over the earth.
