It Is Election Day

Today is an important day here in America as our new president will be chosen. Now here is something to keep in mind as Americans vote and wait for the results.
We live in an increasingly secular culture. Sadly, as America drifts farther from a biblical foundation, we shouldn’t be surprised to see leaders who support this secularization.
But even if our new president supports secular values, we need to remember to pray for him . . . or her . . . as God has commanded us to. Pray that the president will uphold God’s Word and defend religious freedom—which is constantly coming under attack across this nation. And ultimately, pray that he or she will personally be changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
