A common argument presented for evolution is “homology.” Now this is the idea that similar structures in different organisms show they have a shared ancestry.

We have a world-class exhibit in our Creation Museum that challenges this interpretation. You see, the similarities between organisms are real. For example, most vertebrates share a similar limb structure. But this doesn’t point to a shared ancestry. It points instead to a shared Creator!

It makes sense God used the same basic design for all kinds of creatures.

After all, He did make us to live in the same world, eat the same food, and breathe the same air. And the design He chose—well, it is obviously the best!
