Still No New Stars

As we are seeing this week, last year wasn’t a great year for those who believe in the big bang. In 2015, the Hubble telescope shot very detailed images of the “Pillars of Creation,” where new stars supposedly form. The 20-year-old image of these columns of dust and gas is well-known, but this new photograph is even more stunning.

But what astronomers observed defied old age predictions. The area was full of young stars and shockwave fronts that were still moving—not what was expected in an old universe! They didn’t find one new star. Actually, no one has ever seen a new star forming anywhere in the universe.

They don’t form now!
