Transcript

We often hear of stem cell research as the supposed answer to curing many of the illnesses plaguing our society. But at what cost?

Well, there are two different kinds of stem cells. Adult stem cells are found in adults and haven’t specialized yet. They could become, for example, brain, bone, or blood cells, depending on the cell type. There is nothing wrong with research on these cells.

The other kind is embryonic stem cells. These cells haven’t specialized either, but they come from human embryos. In order to get these cells, the embryo—the baby—has to be destroyed.

So Christians can’t support something that kills an unborn child. Every person is made in God’s image.
