I had the privilege of speaking at the Creation Museum this past weekend. That is something I love to do when I’m not on the road.
There is something very special about being able to minister at the museum. It gives me a chance to meet so many people who support our ministry and believe in what we stand for. It is also an opportunity to interact with people who do not understand our message, or those who are openly hostile to the young-earth creationist position.
I spoke to our museum guests in our Special Effects Theater about the importance of Genesis and how it relates to the major doctrines of Christianity. Afterwards, I was able to meet with many guests in the bookstore and answer questions. I was very pleased that some of our more skeptical guests felt comfortable coming to me with their questions and concerns. We had a fruitful time of sharing, and I pray that they will further consider what they heard.
As we proceed into 2010, I pray for many opportunities to witness and share. I “am not ashamed” to stand on God’s Word. May we here at Answers in Genesis continue to boldly proclaim the authority of Scripture.
