It connects Old Testament prophecies with the birth, life, and death of Christ and highlights that Jesus didn’t come focused on throwing off human oppression and correcting every injustice—rather, He came to save His people from their sins (and someday, in the new heavens and new earth, all oppression and injustice will be done away with forever).

As with all of our resources, this play is filled with apologetics and biblical worldview and is gospel-centered, connecting Jesus—the babe in the manger—with the Old Testament and with what He came to do for sinful mankind.
