What I’d love to see families do with this ark model is use it as a discipleship opportunity. As you spend time together building this model, I envision fathers talking to their children about the reality of the flood, discussing how Noah was able to fit the animals on board, how he could have fed and cared for them, or what was going on outside the ark, and pointing them toward the one door, Jesus, who saves us from our sins today. It’s a great opportunity to have spiritual conversations and to impart apologetics to your children. And it creates a great witnessing opportunity for when people visit.
