Today, Memorial Day, is the day that kicks off summer vacations here in America—and with the 250th anniversary of the nation, it’s sure to be a busy summer of families traveling to enjoy this great nation. But as we kick off this busy season, we first stop to remember and honor the men and women who served or gave their lives so we could have the freedom to celebrate and enjoy America.

Thank you to those who have served this nation and defended our freedoms.

Thank you to those who have served this nation and defended our freedoms. As our way of saying thanks every day of the year, we offer 20% off general admission or combo admission to the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum for veterans, active duty, or retired US military members. This 20% discount is also available on rentals (ECVs, wheelchairs, and strollers) and can be used with up to five meals at our restaurants or snack bars. We appreciate the service of our military members!

If you’re planning to travel this summer to enjoy America, make plans to come to Northern Kentucky (it’s within a one-day drive of two-thirds of the US population, making it a great road-trip destination). Kentucky is a beautiful state with so much to offer, including natural wonders such as Mammoth Cave National Park, Red River Gorge, Cumberland Falls State Park, and Lake Cumberland, as well as attractions such as the Kentucky Horse Park and, of course, the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum—the world’s two leading Christian themed attractions in Northern Kentucky. And you will love the rolling hills typical of this state.

As America celebrates her 250th, we’re celebrating 10 years at the Ark Encounter—so hit two anniversary celebrations in one by traveling to Northern Kentucky this July! Our special anniversary celebration, featuring presentations from myself, Ray Comfort of Living Waters, and Steve Green of Hobby Lobby, is happening July 9–10, with an optional add-on of our Astronaut Encounter 2 on July 11, featuring three astronauts: Captain Barry Wilmore, Colonel Jeffrey Williams, and General Charlie Duke.

It’s a great year to plan your own great American road trip, and you should make sure Northern Kentucky is on your list. Not only will you have a great time as a family, but at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, you’ll be equipped with biblical truth and encouraged to stand firmly on the authority of God’s Word.

Plan your visit at ArkEncounter.com and CreationMuseum.org.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
