AiG Impact: “I Quickly Repented of My Disobedience”

It is so humbling and encouraging to hear the testimonies of those who have been impacted by the ministry of Answers in Genesis, the Creation Museum, and the Ark Encounter. I recently received one such testimony from a gentleman who attended our Answers for Men conference earlier this year. In his letter, he tells how the Lord used this conference mightily in his life. I thought I would share this encouraging testimony with you.

Dear Mr. Ham,

I wanted to write to thank you for your amazing ministry. I have been a Christian since 1999 and am a student of God’s Word. However, over the years I had allowed or entertained the numerous theories you mention in your book The Lie as sport (gap theory, millions of years, etc.).

I attended your first ever men’s event in March and was convicted as if I were hit by a Mack truck. I quickly repented of my disobedience of straying from the foundation of God’s Word and have vowed to never entertain anything outside of the literal Bible teaching in Genesis 1–11. I am a Men’s Ministry teacher at my home church, and I have been shouting this from the rooftops to all the men—so to speak. I created a 4-week study on Genesis 1–11 and held a Bible study at my mom’s house for my mom and eight others; including her husband, her neighbors, my daughter, my sister and others. It has been so fruitful that I am doing another one with friends and their children at my home in the fall.

My son and I will be attending the second annual AiG men’s event next year. My son is a believer, but he is seemingly asleep. I covet your prayers for his awakening!

Thank you for allowing the Holy Spirit to use you to allow me to see clearly what I was not. I am forever indebted to you.

Praise the Lord! Yes, our powerful men’s event was phenomenal, and we look forward to next year’s, Faith on Fire: Act like Men, Be Strong, March 6–7, 2026, at the Ark Encounter.

I was also privileged recently to meet a talented young man, 16-year-old Samuil, a 10th grade student in Texas. He plays piano, speaks English and Russian (as do his two brothers, Daniel and Nathan), and enjoys art, chess, and history. Samuil loves to visit the Ark and Creation Museum with his parents and brothers.

Samuil has won multiple awards, the Independent Study Fair, and multiple UIL academic awards in science and history. He wrote a paper called Evolution: Breakthrough or Blunder—Why Evolution as We Know It May Need to Change and Why It Matters, for which he won a competition for his whole school district. He has since published this as a small book and presented it to me on his recent visit to the Creation Museum. I have no doubt Samuil could easily debate Bill Nye! Oh, and he bought one of our “The True Meaning of the Rainbow” T-shirts and said he wore it while visiting California!

It is so great to see God raising up young people like Samuil as part of the younger generation who will stand boldly for the Lord and fight the giant of evolutionary secularism that permeates the culture. May God continue to bless young men like Samuil as they honor him in all they do.

Yes, the Lord is using this ministry in so many ways, and we praise him for what he’s doing around the world!
