Our brand-new Butterfly House at the Creation Zoo is a wonderful addition to the Creation Museum. It features native butterfly (and eventually moth) species, and guests can enjoy watching hundreds of these amazing creatures fluttering around them as they stroll down a beautiful, flowered path.

As guests stroll along the path, they will learn about God’s design in metamorphosis and how it parallels the gospel’s ability to transform human lives. Visitors will also learn the importance of wisely stewarding creation and how to help vulnerable butterflies like monarchs, a flagship species.

Right now, we have 350 butterflies representing six species: cabbage whites, clouded sulphurs, common buckeyes, monarchs, painted ladies, and red admirals. More shipments of butterflies and moths will arrive throughout the summer, matching their natural life cycles.

Due to the natural lifespan and care requirements of the animals, the Butterfly House is a seasonal attraction. It will be open select hours from late spring through early fall each year, and it is wheelchair accessible. Please check the online schedules before visiting or the on-site printed schedules for dates and times.

Tickets cost $4 per person, and children four years old and younger are free. (We have to purchase butterflies every couple of weeks from a breeder, so there is a cost for us to maintain this attraction.) Stay tuned as more species continue to arrive throughout the summer!

Wallaby Walkabout

Our new Wallaby Walkabout is now open. Guests thoroughly enjoy seeing our four Bennett’s wallabies and four Aldabra tortoises—and may even pet their backs if the animals approach. Soon a Papuan eclectus parrot will be added to the small aviary adjacent to the walkabout for guests to admire.

This walkabout is a great addition to the Creation Zoo, which houses a variety of other species, including coatis, an anteater, barnyard animals (kids love interacting with these friendly animals), a king vulture, and more. It’s free to enjoy with your museum admission and is wheelchair accessible.

Another Anniversary

We’re celebrating another anniversary this year—the 50th anniversary of my first-ever creation talk at a small country church in Dalby, Queensland, Australia. Fifty years ago, I never would have imagined all the Lord would do, but we are praising him for his blessing on 50 years of ministry, and we invite you to celebrate with us.

Hear me present my eight classic presentations during the Legacy Conference June 12–14, 2025, at the Ark Encounter.

This June 12–14 is our Ken Ham Legacy Conference, a celebration of God’s faithfulness. I’ll be giving my eight classic presentations, which will be filmed before the live audience. My friend Ray Comfort of Living Waters will be addressing attendees via a live stream interview, and conference attendees will enjoy a special dinner the first night of the event as well as a concert with worship leader Michael O’Brien.
