Spring is just around the corner, and our attractions are ready for the flood of guests that pour in during spring break. It’s thrilling to see all the families bringing their children and grandchildren to discover the truth of God’s Word during their vacation. What a blessing!
Now, if you’re planning to visit us at the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum in Northern Kentucky for your spring vacation, I have five suggestions for how you can get the most out of your visit and have some fun with “extras.”
- Get our guides. We offer easy-to-use guidebooks for all age groups. These are filled with fun and educational activities that engage families with the exhibits. If you order them in advance, you’ll also find helpful tips, information, and activities to enjoy before your visit.
- Go behind the scenes. You can meet our Hoffman’s two-toed sloth up close during an exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Animal Experience (this experience requires a separate ticket, and we recommend you reserve your place in advance). Guests of all ages love meeting and feeding Felix and getting their photo taken with him.
- Ride the zip lines. At both attractions, we have zip lines and an aerial adventure challenge course—including lines up to 2,000 feet long over the woods beside the Ark. Guests love this adrenaline rush!
- Go back in time. You can see the Ark under construction, ride it through the storm, and more as you go “back in time” with our popular VR experience at the Ark Encounter. Or go “out of this world” with our popular astronomy programs in our world-class planetarium at the Creation Museum.
- Discover more about science and the Bible with our hands-on Discover programs, which are included free with your Creation Museum ticket. You’ll dive into the unique design of your fingerprints, the creatures living in a drop of pond water, archaeology and the Bible, climate change for kids, and more. Check the daily calendar on our website to see which programs are happening the day of your visit.
There’s so much to see and do at our attractions. Not only will you make wonderful memories as a family, but you’ll leave strengthened and encouraged in your faith. We hope to see you soon!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
