I love to see how our world-class Christian themed attractions, the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in N. Kentucky, are encouraging children. It’s so exciting that the Lord is using this ministry to impact the next generation for the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord! I recently received a very heart-warming example of this that I want to share with you.
Grace Christian School in West Virginia recently had a “Career Day” as part of its Spirit Week. Kip, a second grader (he’s seven years old), toted around some stuffed warthogs to show off his dream career: Warthog Zookeeper at the Ark Encounter!
Kip says that when his family visited the Ark, he knew he’d love to work there someday, as he could be a “missionary, teacher, and zookeeper all in the same place.” The only thing he’s waiting for is a warthog exhibit to open at the Ark!
What a wonderful testimony to how the Lord is using these attractions to affect people, including children, and ignite in them a fire for the Lord.
What a wonderful testimony to the power of these attractions to impact people, including children, and ignite in them a fire for the Lord.
Now, of course, Kip will have to wait a few years before we can hire him! But if you’d like to be “a missionary, teacher, and zookeeper all in the same place,” we’re hiring at the Ark Encounter zoo, along with the Creation Museum zoo, and a host of other positions within the AiG ministry. Some of these positions are seasonal; others are full time. All are great ways to start your career with us. (We also have an incredible paid internship program called Embark.)
Here’s what it’s like working in our zoos:
Or, if the zoo isn’t for you, consider one of these roles:
We’d love to have you join us! Apply today at AnswersinGenesis.org/jobs.
