“So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us” (1 Thessalonians 2:8).

Are you looking for an internship experience that not only fulfills a college requirement, but helps you develop both spiritually and professionally? Would you like to see how the skills you are learning in college can be applied to glorify God and spread the gospel message within a ministry that pursues excellence in multiple fields?
If so, you should consider Embark, the intern development program for Answers in Genesis. We accept applicants pursuing a wide variety of degrees:
“Proverbs 3:27 is one of my favorite passages of Scripture on leadership. It reads, ‘Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.’ Embark, the Answers in Genesis internship program, honors that in a way I find quite exciting. Equipping the next generation of Christian leaders has always been a priority for Answers in Genesis, and this program continues that commitment. Embark is designed to develop students professionally, personally, and spiritually through apologetics training and hands-on opportunities that only we can provide. I recommend you encourage all your students to consider an Embark internship with AiG no matter their degree pursuit.”
–Ken Ham, CEO and founder of Answers in Genesis–US
There are many benefits that make Embark a good first choice for an internship program! We create a development plan for each intern that includes several key components. You will be mentored within your department while also having a larger experience interacting with other departments in the world-class Ark Encounter and Creation Museum attractions.
Internships include not only professional development, but spiritual development and apologetics training. Interns will have the opportunity to attend speaker sessions, workshops, and other experiences. Additionally, interns will participate in classes both in-person and online to help develop basic servant leadership skills.
All Embark internships are paid.
Embark is open to incoming or current college students pursuing a degree. It is not limited to students with an internship requirement.
The duration of the Embark internship will a pre-determined length that fits the needs of the intern, the department to which the intern is assigned, and, where applicable, the college internship requirement. This will usually be three or six months.
Embark is structured to assist interns in learning business basics like time management, problem solving, delegation, communication, and more. Embark also includes a series of development sessions to provide a well-rounded experience, and programmed events to provide social and spiritual growth opportunities for interns.
We’re biased, but we think Embark is one of the most excellent internship programs you could pursue! Embark interns will experience one of the core values of Answers in Genesis, which is to serve the AiG family generously, with excellence, reflecting God’s love.
An Embark internship will help you to apply the skills you are learning in college in a workplace environment while gaining practical work experience with a supportive team committed to coming alongside interns and training them. You will return to university after your internship energized, equipped, and ready to grow even more!
Housing for interns is available at both the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter on a first-come basis. You can request housing information on your application.
