Are you looking for something unique to do as a family this spring or summer? Well, we have five family adventures for you to consider—and each one comes with expert creation and biblical worldview teaching that will encourage you in your faith.
- Enjoy a Stargazer’s Night at the Creation Museum in Northern Kentucky (designed for ages 10 and up, but anyone can attend—and young children enjoy a discount). Have you ever looked up at the night sky, marveled at all the stars, and then wondered which ones you were seeing? Are you intrigued by the idea of seeing a galaxy or nebula? If so, you’ll love using our array of high-powered telescopes as you learn from creation astronomer and former university professor Dr. Danny Faulkner during a Stargazer’s Night on April 8, July 1, August 5, or September 30, 2022.
- Go on an Explore Fossil Hunt at Caesar Creek Lake, Ohio, just one hour from the Creation Museum, for ages 12 and up on April 9, 2022. Enjoy being paleontologists for the day as a family, searching for creatures buried during Noah’s flood. Geologist Dr. Andrew Snelling and paleontologist Dr. Gabriela Haynes will guide you as you search for corals, clams, trilobites, and whatever else you might uncover. You’ll learn about fossils and rock layers through the lens of God’s Word.
- Explore Arches at Red River Gorge, Stanton, Kentucky (ages 10 and up) on June 1, 2022. “The Gorge” is a beautiful part of Kentucky, located just over an hour from the Ark, featuring amazing arch formations, called natural bridges, surrounded by spectacular scenery. Enjoy a full day of hiking and exploring with Dr. Danny Faulkner as he provides biblical worldview and flood teaching.
- Explore an Authentic Dinosaur Dig in Glendive, Montana (ages 12 and up), July 25–29, 2022. Eastern Montana is home to many fascinating fossil finds—and you can join Tommy and Martha Lohman, along with AiG’s Dr. Georgia Purdom and Dr. Jennifer Rivera, on this once-in-a-lifetime paleontological experience. Spend most of the day searching for fossils such as dinosaur bones and teeth, including some from Edmontosaurus and Triceratops, turtle bones and shells, figs, petrified wood, and more, then enjoy biblical worldview teaching as a family. Space is very limited, so register quickly if you are wanting to go on this Montana outing.
See the Bible’s history come to life as you tour the walk through biblical history at the Creation Museum and experience the full-size Noah’s ark for yourself at the Ark Encounter.
- Visit the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter (the whole family) in northern Kentucky. See the Bible’s history come to life as you tour the walk through biblical history at the Creation Museum and experience the full-size Noah’s ark for yourself at the Ark Encounter. Enjoy our botanical gardens, zoos, state-of-the-art playgrounds, daily concerts, teaching sessions, hands-on programs for the whole family, and so much more. It’s truly a family adventure that will not only leave you with lasting memories but will also give you answers to the questions of our day, encourage you to trust God’s Word, and better equip you to share the gospel message. All children 10 and under are free again for 2022, so bring the whole family! And this year we will be introducing a three-day Bouncer Pass that will allow unlimited visits to both attractions over three days during a seven-day period. Keep watch next month for this special ticket on the Ark and Creation Museum websites.
Don’t miss a creation adventure with your family this year (or surprise your spouse with a very unique date experience!). Our programs often sell out quickly, so register today to avoid disappointment. Visit CreationMuseum.org.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
