Since we reopened our two northern Kentucky attractions on June 8, 2020, it’s been wonderful to see families, children, and individuals once again visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. If you’re planning a visit, I thought I’d let you know a little bit more about what is happening at each attraction to enhance your visit.
Did you know we feature special presentations, music, and workshops most days?
Did you know we feature special presentations, music, and more most days? These programs are included with your Creation Museum or Ark Encounter admission and are a great way to dive even deeper into our content and make more memories during your visit.
At both the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, you will enjoy daily presentations on a wide variety of subjects from our dynamic and engaging speakers. Learn about why creation vs. evolution matters, the biblical answer to racism, dinosaurs and the Bible, how science confirms the Bible, and other fascinating topics. I will be speaking frequently at the Answers Center at the Ark Encounter this summer. See a schedule (subject to change) on Ark Encounter website.
At the Creation Museum, enjoy our special programs (included with the price of admission). Explore the incredible design of your fingerprints, learn about God’s creation with live animals such as hedgehogs, snakes, and “creepy crawlies,” discover the intricate design of a baby’s development, wonder at creation with live science demonstrations, and so much more in these family friendly programs. Or tap your toes to a live concert from singer-songwriter Buddy Davis. (Find a daily schedule of programs on Creation Museum website; please note that this schedule is subject to change without notice.)
At the Ark Encounter, enjoy daily music (Monday–Saturday) from our resident artists, Steve Hess & Southern Salvation. This talented group will keep your toes tapping as you join with them in worshipping our Lord and Savior. While you relax in Answers Center during this time of music, grab a delicious gourmet boxed lunch or dinner and enjoy that meal while you listen.
And don’t miss the teaching we offer about our animals (including meeting some of our animals!) and the animal kinds at our brand-new Animal Actors Stage in Ararat Ridge Zoo.
Both the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum also feature state-of-the-art playgrounds, designed to include the whole family (including those of all abilities) in the fun. These playgrounds are now open and families are loving them.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
