For several months now, we’ve been releasing short behind-the-scenes videos with teasers from our short film, New Beginning. This film—created, directed, and produced (using sets constructed at AiG) by the many talented staff members God has brought to AiG—brings the account of the flood of Noah to life in a new and emotive way. It includes both the “full length” 30-minute version that will eventually be shown daily at our new 2,500-seat Answers Center auditorium at the Ark Encounter and a special “short” 15-minute version that is part of our Sunday school curriculum.
I’m excited to finally announce the premiere date for the short version of this film! You will be able to watch New Beginning (the short edition) starting on March 29, 2019. Be sure to “like” and follow the Answers Bible Curriculum Facebook page for the earliest announcement that the film has been released!
As I watched the set, characters, and script come together for this film, I was consistently amazed by the level of talent God has brought to AiG. Everything they did was Hollywood quality and totally unique. The level of attention to detail seen throughout the film is terrific!
New Beginning provides a glimpse of what life may have been like before, during, and after the flood by following the story of Shem’s wife. It’s an immersive look into one of the greatest events in history that will enrich your understanding of Genesis chapters 6–9. I’m excited for our supporters to be able to watch this free “short” version of the film and share it with others.
The flood narrative will come to life before your eyes in New Beginning. The full version of the film will soon be released and shown at the Ark Encounter in our new 2,500-seat multi-purpose auditorium. (See below!)
I encourage you to like and follow the Answers Bible Curriculum on Facebook at Facebook.com/AnswersBibleCurriculum to be one of the first people to get to see this exciting new film.
The full version of New Beginning (about 30 minutes) will be premiering at our Easter conference, Answering Atheists, April 17–21, 2019, at the Ark Encounter (south of Cincinnati). It will be one of two films having a first public showing there. The other film is Living Waters’ The Fool, featuring the true story of my good friend Ray Comfort’s nickname (given to him by celebrity atheists), “Banana Man.” We hope you will be able to join us for this faith-equipping conference at the Ark Encounter .
