We’re excited that Deaf Day is coming back to the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum in Northern Kentucky this year. This annual event is a special outreach to the Deaf community with ASL interpretation, a special Deaf-led presentation, video captioning, and more. If you are Deaf or know someone who is, mark your calendar for Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the Ark Encounter and Sunday, October 14, 2018, at the Creation Museum.

As a special addition this year, we’re adding a Deaf-led worship service Sunday morning in Legacy Hall at the Creation Museum. You won’t want to miss worshipping with hundreds of other members of the Deaf community. Be sure to make a weekend out of it by visiting both the Ark and the Creation Museum on their back-to-back Deaf Days.

Volunteers who are skilled in ASL interpreting will be available to assist with ticket purchasing, food ordering, directions, and more. Workshops and other special presentations will be ASL interpreted, and videos will be captioned, as always.

We’re excited about this annual opportunity to reach out to the large Deaf community here in America and even internationally. Believers will be equipped to defend their faith and nonbelievers will be challenged with the message of the truth of God’s Word and the gospel.

It’s our prayer that Deaf Day will have an eternal impact on all who come. If you know anyone who is Deaf, please encourage them to visit or, better yet, plan a trip of your own and bring them along.

Become a Deaf Day Volunteer

As Deaf Day continues to grow, we’re always looking for more volunteers who are skilled in ASL interpreting and who would love to provide the best experience for our Deaf guests. If this sounds like a fit for you, please apply on the volunteer page of our website.

Plan your visit to Deaf Day at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum at ArkEncounter.com or CreationMuseum.org.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
