Hurricane Harvey Abortion Fundraiser?

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey’s destruction in Texas and Louisiana, many groups (including Answers in Genesis in partnership with Children’s Hunger Fund) have been raising a considerable amount of money to provide victims with much-needed food, water, clothing, and other necessities. Well, at least two groups are seeking to raise money to “help” victims of Hurricane Harvey in a different way—by creating more victims. But these won’t be victims of a natural disaster. These will be victims of abortion—the murdering of children in the womb.

That’s right. These groups are seeking to raise money to cover the cost of abortions for women who lost their appointments due to the closures of abortion centers or the inability to get to their appointment because of the hurricane. One abortion provider is even offering free abortions at clinics in other parts of Texas and even covering travel and housing costs, if necessary.

It’s hard to stomach how horrible such a fundraiser is, but it emphasizes the evil of abortion.

Dozens of people have already died due to Hurricane Harvey, but these abortion groups just want to add unborn children to the death toll. It’s hard to stomach how horrible such a fundraiser is, but it emphasizes the evil of abortion. It takes the life of the most vulnerable among us—the unborn.

Oh, how we need to reach this culture with the truth of God’s Word and the saving gospel! We at AiG continue to do whatever humanitarian work we can.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
