One Year of Reaching People with the Truth of God’s Word at Ark Encounter

It’s certainly been a busy year since we opened! We’ve made a variety of enhancements on the property already, including beautiful landscaping, the opening of the West Village, new food and drink venues, animal shows on the second deck of the Ark, increased signage around and inside the Ark (including some teaching signage), two new theaters at the bow end of the second and third decks, new animals in Ararat Ridge Zoo, and more! And the East Village with live bird exhibits, six impressive monument stones, and more will open soon.

That’s what we’re really about—the message of Jesus Christ and his sacrificial death on our behalf.

And we haven’t just been busy with building all these new improvements—the Ark staff has been keeping up with the thousands of guests who visit daily. We’ve been thrilled to see visitors coming from all over the world, and we thank the Lord for the thousands of individuals and families—including many nonbelievers and even some outspoken atheists (including Bill Nye and PZ Meyers)—who have toured the Ark and heard the message of the gospel. That’s what we’re really about—the message of Jesus Christ and his sacrificial death on our behalf.
